Expanding coverage in Thailand often starts with a map and a hopeful list of provinces. What actually drives sell-through is knowing which outlets can carry the brand well—and which routes can reach them reliably within a distributor’s existing rhythm.

Begin with channel truth, not geography alone. Traditional trade doors near wet markets behave differently from convenience clusters along commuting corridors. A route that looks efficient on paper can waste mornings if opening hours and delivery windows are ignored.

We recommend a three-layer view: must-win doors that set brand standards, volume doors that justify frequency, and opportunity doors visited when capacity allows. Assign each layer a visit cadence and a simple visibility checklist so merchandisers know what “done” looks like.

Finally, reconcile the plan with distributor capacity. A clean territory design that overloads vans or supervisors will slip within weeks. Better to cover fewer doors with consistent execution than to claim wide coverage that never sticks on shelf.
